Meet the Doctors

Dr. Giles B. Horrocks, DDS, MS

Giles Horrocks completed his specialty training in Periodontology in the Department of Medicine and Surgery at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.  He has written a chapter on Piezosurgery Assisted Controlled Ridge Expansion and has a recent publication in the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry on a technique he developed called Controlled Assisted Ridge Expansion (CARE), which is a minimally invasive surgical approach to alveolar bone volume enhancement. He has also recently published a chapter on Periodontal and Peri-Implant Soft Tissue Surgery in Minimally Invasive Dental and Implant Surgery by Wiley Blackwell.

Dr. Horrocks is the past president of the Rocky Mountain Society of Periodontists and is a key opinion leader for Meisinger USA, Dentsply Implants, and Mectron Piezosurgery©. He maintains an appointment as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado SODM. He limits his practice to Periodontics with a focus on dental implant related surgery.

Dr. Christine Cole, DDS, MHS

Dr. Christine Cole is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She completed her undergraduate degree in Geology at the University of Michigan and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry where she graduated magna cum laude and as a member of the Omnicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. She then obtained her Masters of Health and Science in Periodontology in Charleston at the Medical University of South Carolina where she was chief resident. Dr. Christine Cole has also published a chapter on Periodontal and Peri-Implant Soft Tissue Surgery in Minimally Invasive Dental and Implant Surgery by Wiley Blackwell.

Her background in massage therapy and her training in neurotoxin delievery has created a special niche for her role in treatment of migraines, teeth clenching and grinding, and trigger point therapy.

An active member of her local community, Dr. Cole serves as President of the Rocky Mountain Society of Periodontists and presents for the Boulder Periodontics Hygiene Study Club. She also founded the Women’s Interdisciplinary Study Huddle (WISH) which is focused on strengthening relationships and interdisciplinary practices among female dentists in the greater Boulder area.

In her free time, Dr. Cole is always looking for an opportunity to enjoy her hobbies biking, skiing, yoga, and flying.
