Dr. Brian Lehigh achieved his undergraduate degree in chemistry at Colorado University–Boulder. Following graduation, he completed a master’s degree in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at UCLA. His specialty prior to dental school was formulating medication for patients with blood clotting disorders.
While volunteering at the West Los Angeles Veteran’s Administration Hospital, he was inspired to pursue Periodontics. He became passionate about not only the surgical art of periodontics, but also about forming lasting bonds with his patients. During dental school, he founded a dental subsidy program for UCLA student veterans and former foster youth while also serving as the Chief Periodontal Resident at the West Los Angeles VA Hospital.
“Building lasting relationships with patients is what led me to become a Periodontist. My goal is always to be patient-focused while making sure those I serve get the best evidence-based surgical solutions available.”
Dr. Lehigh is excited to be back in his hometown of Boulder. As a Colorado native and passionate climber, he has climbed twenty 14ers in twenty days and aims to summit all fifty-eight Colorado 14ers. He enjoys fishing, hiking, skiing, rock climbing, and especially mountaineering.
