Dr. Hannah Price, DMD

Dr. Hannah Price earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Clemson University before receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She then completed her specialty training in Periodontics at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Price is board-eligible with the American Board of Periodontology and is certified in LANAP® and LAPIP™ laser therapy.
During her residency, Dr. Price received multiple honors for her research and clinical presentations, including First Place at the Southeastern Dental Research Symposium (SeDR) for her case presentation on Surgically Facilitated Orthodontic Therapy (SFOT). She was also recognized with the 2025 Best Research Article of the Year Award by the Journal of Dental and Oral Epidemiology for her published research.

Dr. Price enjoys all aspects of periodontics, with particular interests in periodontal regeneration, soft tissue grafting, dental implants, and helping patients preserve their natural teeth whenever possible. Inspired in part by her own experience undergoing extensive dental treatment as a child, Dr. Price understands the importance of trust and communication in the patient experience and strives to make every visit comfortable, informative, and personalized.

Outside of the office, Dr. Price enjoys exploring Colorado’s mountains, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her three cats. Before beginning her career in dentistry, she proudly represented the United States as captain of the USA Women’s Under-20 National Rugby Team, an experience that shaped her leadership, resilience, and collaborative approach to patient care.

Dr. Price is also passionate about dental education and enjoys creating online, evidence-based educational content for patients and dental professionals. She co-hosts the podcast Too Much Plaque to Handle, where she helps make periodontal topics approachable and engaging.

She looks forward to partnering with patients and referring dentists to deliver exceptional periodontal care while empowering every patient through education, trust, and compassionate treatment.
